Business Owners React to Deadly Late-Night Shooting Outside DeSoto Strip Mall
DE SOTO, Texas — Business owners in DeSoto are speaking out after a deadly late-night shooting outside a busy strip mall left one person dead and several others injured, sparking concern in the local community.
According to police, officers responded just after midnight to reports of gunfire in the parking lot of a shopping center along North Hampton Road. When authorities arrived, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim, a 20-year-old man, later died from his injuries, while others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
